Guest Detective - CSI 89

Happy Friday!  I don't know about all of you, but I'm so glad the weekend is here.  I've worked way too much over the past 2 weeks, pulling all-nighters delivering puppies, breeding dogs (I'm a breeding manager for an assistance dog school by day) and I'm looking forward to some quiet downtime with Evan and the boys this weekend.

This month the Flying Unicorn Creative Team are serving as Guest Detectives for CSI: Color, Stories, Inspiration.  Here is how I solved Case File #89.

I've had these pictures of Elliot forever - well for 5 years, actually - just begging to be scrapped and this case file was perfect.  The orange in his shirt fits the palette, the awesome sketch called for multiple photos and the prompt to "Use the alphabet to journal - e.g. A is for         " was absolutely perfect.

I combined papers from the August and September Flying Unicorn Kit of the Month - perfect for this palette.

Lots of inks and Twinkling H2O paints on the background.

Torn layers of a Fancy Pants stencils and corrugated card stock to plump things up a bit.

Evidence: Use brackets & Use alphabets as part of your design.

Here is the inspiring case file:

How will you solve the case?  Play along over at CSI for the chance to win a slew of gorgeous prizes.

I hope you all have a great weekend!
